Formed in San Francisco in 1973, Journey is an American rock band formed by former members of band Frumious Bandersnatch and Santana. The bands greatest notoriety, event and record sales occurred while Steve perry was their lead singer in between 1978 and 1987. Using their worldwide album sales as a metric (over 75 million albums) they are one of the most commercially successful bands of all time.
